I have never been a fan of bumper stickers. I think they make a car look dirty and create nothing but
eye
pollution on our highways. On my way to work last week I found myself behind a Toyota 4Runner loaded with bumper stickers. What's the use? How will this eye pollution possibly change my world view? Come on! From the moment they are pasted to the car they start to fade out in the elements. Eventually they become blank slates with no message at all.
The smaller stickers were so confusing, "race mixing is cool" and "ban free speech", "old people are cool" and "all families matter", "you are not what you own" and "can you escape?" Exactly what is this guy after here? Pick a theme and go with it man! A key rule in marketing is don't try to be all things to all people. He missed that lesson.
The most relevant sticker is the one that really summed up exactly how I
felt about having to endure those futile messages all the way to the
freeway; "Whatever You Do... is it necessary, truthful and kind?" I will answer NO to all three when it comes to his schizophrenic display of instant bumper messaging. I
will go on record saying they are neither necessary nor kind. I kept
thinking how crazy this guy was having his tailgate loaded with those tawdry slap-ons. Until I realized that I had shot several photos of his
tailgate while I was driving. I was in motion with one hand on the
camera and one on the wheel.
Who's really the crazy one here?
You should also have a bumper sticker that reads "Guess what, I'm a time traveler!" I wish I could do that. ;)

My favorite bumber sticker reads "My other ride is your mom!" with a close second of "Guns don't kill people, draft dodgers do."

Bumper stickers cheapen the look of a vehicle the way ads cheapen the look of a website. Ya know what's worse? Window stickers. Seriously - does having Tweety staring out from the back passenger window make you THAT MUCH COOLER?! Erm.. no.

I'm not much of a fan of bumper stickers either. I'd never put one on my car - I don't care what the message.
One thing I will say about the photo - if that is, in fact, the car you mention in your post - at least he/she tried to paste them across the back with some sort of organized balance. It may be an eyesore, but at least it has balance?

I hate bumper stickers too. They are usually unoriginal. My friend recently got one worth mentioning. It's a cartoon sticker of her son playing baseball. It actually looks just like him. I think it's cool because it's unique. Has anyone heard of www.avatarsforcars.com? I guess you send in a photo and they make a car sticker. I'm consider getting a sticker like that for my daughter.
